Highly recommended by the DSA to give a new driver experience on roads (incl. motorways) that he / she will not have experienced whilst learning to drive. The objective of the course is simple: to give inexperienced drivers a head start to help prevent them becoming a future (accident) statistic! The sad fact is that we kill two drivers under the age of 25 on the UK’s roads EVERY DAY! - this course is aimed at reducing this appalling statistic. The insurance industry recognise the effect of Pass Plus — and offer significantly discounted premiums to certificate holders! Already got a car, so no point in doing the course?? Not true! Many insurers will give a rebate after you’ve bought your insurance on production of a Pass Plus Certificate! Regardless of the above, think of your insurance excess and potential uninsured losses after a slight prang. (Might you have avoided it had you taken this course?) Deep down you know this makes financial sense! People (especially parents) seek me out to deliver this course. That says something! Without exception, everyone tells me that they found it really useful. And they’re MUCH safer as a result.
