Hello.

I'm Tony Clarke, your Local ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) with Learner Driving Centres.  I live in Baldock, in North Herts, and cover North and East Hertfordshire, South West Cambridgeshire,  South East Bedfordshire, and all the areas in between, and some beyond.   I operate within a 15 mile radius of Baldock.  For more details of my coverage please see my Area Covered page.

As well as being a Driving Instructor and professional member of the DIA (Driving Instructors Association), I also hold a RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Diploma - the highest Advanced Driving Teaching qualification available to civilians—for both car AND Motorcycles. The techniques taught are based on Roadcraft; the Police drivers' manual. I have passed RoSPA's Advanced tests in car and motorcycle at Gold grade and I also deliver Advanced Motorcycle courses. I am also a Senior Observer with the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists).

In addition I am a Driving Standards Agency Registered Fleet Driver Trainer.  So you can be sure that you’ll receive the highest level of training!

What does all this mean in terms of ‘Success’?  Have a look at my “Hall of Fame” - a red star means that my client passed 1st time! The DSA tell us the National Average is 42% (N.B. This is of all tests taken, so the 1st time pass rate has to be much lower)!  I’ll leave you to do the maths … but anything over 70% is exceptional!

So, whether you're a nervous beginner or 'expert' driver wanting to brush up on your driving skills and eliminate a few bad habits, I have the driving course for you. The RoSPA Diploma also enables me to offer driver improvement courses for businesses which will improve fleet driver safety, thereby reducing accident rates and insurance costs.
